Good quality print and vivid images but that's the best part. There are some interesting facts here and there but otherwise it's just a chronicalling of Hiroshi Fujiwara's history and collabs through pictures. The most reading you will actually do is only in the first few pages. If your looking for a more insightful look into Fujiwara's methods and conceptual information (as I was) this isn't the book for you. Simply an accounting of projects he's done with short descriptions given and lots of pictures. Good enough book but not worth $50

This book is about Ivy and her best friend Carrie and a boy David who always taunted them. It is also about a strange new teacher who warned Carrie in a strange voice: "Beware... You will see a great change in the future." Who was this teacher? What did she know? How did she know? What kind of change was coming?

I really enjoyed this little tale. The characters are well developed, and the emotions really come through. The adventures were just right; scary, but not horrifying. I can see my grandson reading this with enjoyment.

This book is about 2 girls named Ivy and Carrie who love there new class even though the teacher Mrs. Huffity is a bit odd. But one day Mrs. Huffity brings in a box and says they will be taking turns taking care of the egg. She lets them look at the egg and says there is a dragon inside. She asks who will take care of the egg first. Every hand goes up except Ivy's. Soon Ivy is taking the egg out of David's locker because he left it at school on purpose. She didn't believe in the gollivant that would be after the egg. Then she soon realizes with the egg in her hands that the gollivant is after her and the egg. She starts to see them. When the egg hatches she calls Carrie over to help with the dragon. Then they find themselves in the magical world.I found the book kind of long and drawn out. I felt there was long periods of Ivy just protecting the egg. I liked when the egg hatched and Ivy had to really start fighting the gallivant.I would recommend this book to anyone ages 7- 11 who likes dragons and magical stuff.

My son loved this book he did a book project on it and is making a baby dinosaur gourd to go with it. He is 9 and said it was very good. I will post a pic of the dragon when it's done.

And our teacher is one?Carrie and Ivy are best friends. Carrie's home isn't as happy as Ivy's, her parents are getting divorced and it seems to her that neither of them even care about her any more.It's parents are new age hippies, and she's doesn't even get an occasional doughnut.When their new teacher assigns the class to take care of a mysterious egg the adventures begin!

Wow! What a set of adventures that these girls go on, it's like an adventure/ roller coaster type of read and yet a very clean read great for I 'd say grade school and up! These are the ages I would recommend without having the. info in age and grade levels. And for those who like a fast paced mystery and adventure book! Antitrust is boring because there is very little doctrine, and every cause boils down to economic analysis. However, this book at least summarizes and clarifies the standard economic arguments that come up in antitrust cases. It also does a good job of distinguishing the cases that are no longer authoritative from those that are. Overall, this book is a helpful tool if, like me, you find antitrust to be a disorganized mess in need of some structure.

As another reviewer mentioned, the book is concise - it won't be useful if you want to learn every case. It does seem to cover most of the big ones, though, and it's an excellent and appropriately concise review of contemporary antitrust law. I read about half of it in the day or two before my final and found very useful for "putting it all together," and for reviewing the major blackletter. Antitrust law, at least as it was taught at my school, doesn't have a ton of important blackletter, so I found the books focus on economic and big-picture arguments to be useful [there is blackletter, but it's not usually the real lynchpin of the legal analysis, rather than just being a framework to guide an otherwise mostly-free-form economic analysis on which the case usually turns). In all, I found the book very useful. It's brevity, for my purposes, was an asset, because it focused on the most important things without making me feel like I had just signed up to read a second textbook. I will second the other reviewers point though - this is not the book to get if you never went to class, have no notes, and need to learn EVERYTHING. It's strength is as an overview and a review, to supplement your notes and your class time, or to provide some big-picture background to some research you're doing.

Great book for understanding antitrust! I would not have survived the final without it. It really helps you cut through to why the particular cases matter in particular areas.

Great book, with thorough coverage of the subject

Before you buy this book, note its brevity and adjust your expectations accordingly. It covers the entirety of antitrust law in ~200 pages, and the discussion thus necessarily carries on at a high level of generality.I bought this book to get a broad overview of US antitrust law in a brief space, and it served me quite well for that purpose. It is a good tool understand where each doctrine that you would study in a semester falls within the broader antitrust doctrine. It is written in clear prose and flows very easily. There is adequate discussion of some of the landmark cases, but the facts and the reasoning in those cases are not explored in much detail.I would think that this book would be good to read before the semester began, or during the second half of the semester when you are somewhat familiar with the cases being discussed. But if you are looking for help in the days before finals I would advise you to look elsewhere.And I have to express my disappointment that the publisher only lets you see the table of contents and part of the preface before you have to decide whether to buy the book. I would have liked to see the treatment of at least one complete subject before shelling out $50.
